Week Beginning 5th October

 

Year 5 and 6 having been collecting lots of data from all of the Primary and Middle years classes. We have sorted this data in many ways including using bar charts, line graphs, tables, tally charts, Venn diagrams and Carroll diagrams. We have displayed samples of our learning on the board outside of our classroom.

We have been learning about Venn Diagrams. This PowerPoint can be used to help the children review their learning.

Year 5 and 6 produced this week's PY assembly on the theme of Independence and Resilience. You can see it here and I think you will agree that the children did a really good job.

• We have been learning about colons, semi colons and dashes
• We shared stories about migrants from several countries and thought about the reasons why they left
• We have organised our groups for the PYP Exhibition and decided the themes we plan to investigate
• Our snack survey is complete. Now we are analysing the data using graphs charts and diagrams
• In Science, we looked at different ways of sorting living things
• We shared out end of unit showcases with each other

Tomorrow, we start our half term break. We hope you all get time to rest and have some family time whether you are staying in Udon or travelling further afield.
